Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Purpose:

Provide Quality Engineering and Auditing for the construction, systemization, operations, and closure phases of the project. 


 

Duties:

 

* Assist in developing Quality Programs and procedures that comply with established requirements.

 

* Assist organizations in developing quality programs and procedures that apply appropriate quality requirements in a cost effective manner.


 

* Review procedures and procurement documents to ensure that they contain and conform to project quality requirements.

 

* Review subcontractor documents for QA provisions.


 

* Investigate causes of non-conformance, obtain dispositions, and concur with corrective actions.


 

* Design and facilitate QA systems in support of product systems requirements, providing assurance that these systems are efficiently delivered at the most economical cost.

 

* Assure accuracy and objectivity in the project and program documentation .

 



*Assess compliance and effectiveness of programs procedures to project contractual quality requirements. 


 

Skills/Qualifications:



Bachelor of Science in Engineering or hard science ( chemistry, physics, etc.).

Knowledgeable of QA Program requirements, QA implementing procedures,  inspection & test methods and assessing techniques.

Three (3)  to Five (5) or more years experience in construction or operations quality assurance/quality control.

Preferred: Licensed Engineer or Certified Quality Engineer.
