The Quality Assurance Assistant responsibilities are as an internal/extermal work compliance auditor, by leading the strategy and implementation of industrial work practices and regulations under local, state and federal regulatory agency. The Quality Assurance Assistant works with the Human Resources Manager to maintain policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance according to regulatory guidelines and legislation. This postion requires being on the road (company vehicle will be assigned). Must have good driving record. Must be able to drive on a daily basis.

Major Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions):



?Researches and Analyzes current work practices to ensure safety. Suggest and implement current policies and procedures for Alliance Environmental Group in accordance with the Company?s philosophy, OSHA, DHS, AQMD, Regulatory Agencies, goals and objectives.



?Resolves service and/or quality issues related to Labor and Safety.



?Interfaces with the Company?s Labor Department Professionals on quality and service issues.



?Ability to read, analyze, and interpret industry regulations, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.



?Ability to write reports, business correspondence.



?Coordinate and implement Safe Work Practices in both Field and Office. Keep OSHA Logs current in various Environmental Group Satellite Offices.



?Conduct Field inspections under Asbestos Regulations, Title 8, Section 1529 and Article 1926 for compliance and safety.



?Asbestos and Lead Certification.



?Counsel and Discipline Employees.



?Adhere to Company Illness and Injury Prevention Program (IIPP) Manual under OSHA Regulations for Asbestos, Lead and Mold Related work.



?Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned by supervisors.

? Carrying/Lifting: Maximum of 50 - 100 lbs.

? Standing: Standing up to 8 hours per day.

? Driving: Up to 8 hours per day.

? Sitting: Up to 8 hours per day.

? Walking: Walking up to 8 hours per day.

? Repetitive Motion: Keyboard entry, telephone use.

? Visual Acuity: View read computer screen with or without corrective devices.
