Responsibilities:

?  Provide (re)wiring of electrical units for fabrication, modifications, and repair needs of production machinery in accordance with shop guidelines, lead times and customer requirements on a timely basis. 

?  Efficiently build and modify fixtures, machines and related equipment using knowledge of pneumatics, as well as lathe/milling. 

?  Troubleshoot existing machines and debug newly created machines efficiently and on a timely basis.

?  Work from engineering drawings, sketches, holding precision tolerances.

?  Prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

?  Communicate effectively with machine shop management to allow for effective planning and to control downtime.

 

Qualifications:

?   Must be able to use standard mechanic hand tools, electrical test as well as any other necessary tools.

?  Demonstrate proficiency in all skill levels including electrical.

?  Diagnose system problems quickly and efficiently Prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

?  PLC programming/debugging a strong plus.
