Real Estate Director

International company with 20,000+ employees is looking for a Real Estate Director to develop and implement real estate strategic plans to meet global business unit requirements for campuses and offices. This position will be based in downtown Chicago.

 

 

Responsibilities include:

 Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining aggressive control of budget, schedule and quality.Work with internal customers, internal personnel, property owners, real estate brokers and legal counsel to in the fulfillment of real estate strategic plan.Provide support for additional special projects and facilities management.

 

Requirements include:

 Bachelor?s degree.7+ years of hands-on corporate experience.Strong and comprehensive project management skills including site selection, lease negotiations, and financial analysis.Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.Ability to review contracts and draft language as necessary.Must be a self-starter with the ability to work under pressure independently and as part of a team.Excellent organizational and written and verbal communication skills.Must have the ability to travel approximately 20% of the work yearAbility to adhere to company work hours of 9am ? 6pm, Monday through Friday, and have the ability to review e-mail and other communications during non-company work hours.
