Regional Business Development Manager - manage untapped potential in our Western Region

This high profile, high impact position offers you the opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and outgoing personality to build long-term relationships with key decision-makers in targeted industries throughout the western US and Canada. You'll help ensure that Tyco Fire & Building Products (TFBP) is identified as a proprietary or preferred vendor by business owners and other senior executives, engineers, architects, regulatory inspectors, and thought leaders.

At TFBP the Business Development Manager (BDM) role is much more than a traditional sales position; we utilize BDMs in association with various initiatives that are important to fueling our growth plans. While TFBP is already growing significantly, the Western Region represents tremendous untapped potential, and your success in this role could set you up to take advantage of the "upward draft" of opportunity created by that growth.

To be a good fit for this role you'll have a unique combination of technical and business backgrounds. We're looking for a professional with a bachelors degree (could be in Marketing, Business, Fire Protection Engineering, or any related field) as well as significant experience in business development, marketing, or sales. Experience in the fire protection industry is a plus.

You can live anywhere in the Western US as long as you are close to a major airport, as you'll be traveling up to 50% of the time.
