Residential Construction Superintendent

Stanbrooke Custom Homes is a volume "On Your Lot" custom home builder.  We are seeking a motivated, experienced, people oriented Site Superintendent with a high degree of organizational & administrative skills for our production team.

 

We currently build 80-100 custom homes per year in South King, Pierce, Thurston, Lewis, Mason & Kitsap counties. Our company is technology driven with a desire to produce a great product for our clients, with a $3 million model home & sales center located off hiway 167 & 512 just outside of downtown Puyallup Washington. Competitive pay and fun team of construction professionals. While some pick up work is required from time to time, majority of time is spent coordinating sites and sub contractors. Applicant will have a minimum of 5 years experience as a residential superintendent. Experience in custom homes a plus! Good communication and organizational skills a must.

 

Must have a demonstrated work history in the construction of custom homes, have a pickup truck, submit to a substance abuse screening and be a team player. We offer a benefits package including vacation, holidays and insurance, competitive salary, health benefits, vehicle & gas allowance.

Minimum Skill Qualifications:

 

Minimum of 3 years experience in residential construction site superintendence. 

Good communication skills both oral and written.

Excellent organizational & administrative skills.

 

Basic computer related skills.

Min 3 years experience with initial phases of single family construction... i.e. foundation stake out, setting grade, reading site plans, septic designs, working with homeowners, etc.

Must have valid Washington State Driver's license, vehicle and basic tools.

Must have a positive "Can-Do" attitude and the ability to work with all kinds of people... Explain.

Must be very detail oriented and willing to follow direction.

Ability to overcome obstacles to keeping projects on budget and on schedule.

Must be a self starter and the ability to work independently.

Must be able to manage 15-18 projects from foundation to completion.
