Route Sales & Service Rep

Job Description SimplexGrinnell is a global leader in the design, manufacture, installation, and service of a comprehensive array of networked and integrated fire alarm and suppression, security, and communications systems. Our continued success and growth has produced a need for a Route Sales & Service Representative in our Boise, Idaho location.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Servicing and sales of fire extinguishers, restaurant and suppression systems, emergency lights and exit lights.
Certify and inspect portables, emergency lights, and restaurant suppression systems.
Develop and maintain customer relationships, and create new business.

QUALIFICATIONS
Prior sales experience, good organizational skills, and excellent communication skills are desirable.
The position requires a high energy level with a focus towards the customer and a strong desire to succeed.
Must be team oriented.
Sales background a plus.
Experience in the fire suppression business is a plus.
Good understanding of building codes and regulations a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Must have a valid Idaho drivers license and a clean driving record.
