SENIOR ESTIMATOR

American Infrastructure is currently searching for a Senior Estimator to join our team out of our Greenbelt, MD office.


Responsibilities include:

Calculating various statistical data, quantity take-offs, material price lists, labor cost per man-hour, equipment, etc. Researching historical data (Purchase Orders, Subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc.), and compiling summary reports to develop guidelines and precedence for future estimates. Participate in developing project update and bid package estimate documents. Provides lead direction to Estimator I and Estimator II positions; coordinate, supervise, and review work of assigned personnel to ensure accuracy and completeness. This position reports to the Chief Estimator, and assists in coordinating overall estimating department functions, including staff training.

The successful candidate will have a 4 year Engineering degree (or equivalent combination of training/experience); 5+ years construction experience in estimating, controls and/or engineering, and computer skills (MS Office, Agtek, HCSS, Trueline). Ability to work in a collaborative team environment is essential.
