SITE MANAGER / SUPERVISOR

 

 

The Site Manager/Supervisor performs professional and managerial work in support of Horizon business operations.  This individual must be able to function at high levels of efficiency and effectiveness in a large construction site environment. This individual will work closely with the construction site supervisor, contracts administrator, safety representative, and site technical professionals and must be able to professionally represent the company in all meetings and activities. 

 

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Performs managerial and supervisory duties as directed by Horizon Senior Management.  Also, must accept direction from the construction site supervisor, contracts administrator, safety representative, and technical representative as required. 

 

Must be able to effectively manage transportation and construction trade employees as required.

 

Must be able to personally compile and prepare administrative reports, proposals, submittals, and documents as required.

 

Maintains records and files as required.

 

Must be able to effectively communicate with vendors and other service providers.

 

Attends site meetings with other personnel and entities for the purpose of establishing mutually cooperative goals.

 

Must be able to work as required to complete all required tasks.

 SUPERVISION RECEIVED

 

Direct supervision is received from the Horizon Senior Management.  Also, must accept direction from the construction site supervisor, contracts administrator, and safety representative as required. 

 

SUPERVISION EXERCISED

 

Supervises all local Horizon employees.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

Requires a college degree supplemented by a working knowledge of the industrial construction industry.
