SR Project Engineer - San Jose, CA / CASJO334

Position Description:

Gilbane, the nation's sixth largest construction manager, has an opening for a Senior Project Engineer in Northern California.

Profile: Senior Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing and mentoring multiple engineers on a construction management project.

Experience: A minimum of 7 years experience on $50 million - $100 million projects in the lead engineering role. Knowledge of Prolog, JD Edwards, and Microsoft Excel and Word preferable.

Responsibilities: Jobsite responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: leading a group of Project Engineers and establish distribution; routing plans and ensuring all information is properly distributed internally and externally; review submittals; RFIs; negotiate change-orders; resolve field issues; control schedule; and work in a team environment with other Project Engineers and Superintendents.

Education Requirement: The successful candidate should be a BS or MS [Engineering / Construction Management preferred] graduate.
