USG Corporation has an immediate opening for a Sales Representative II at its United States Gypsum Company subsidiary.  The position is based in the Mid Atlantic Region with sales and business development responsibility for a well established territory. 

 

The Sales Representative II position is responsible for the following:Improving sales volume by building relationships and providing the required support to commercial contractors, residential contractors, architects, designers, owners and distributors. Influencing each customer group's loyalty be delivering a high level of customer service, including the following: proactive customer contact, industry knowledge and networking, product training, deep technical product knowledge, large job coordination, competitive information, job quotes and prompt resolution for customer complaints. Develops strong relationships with the USG Building Systems sales team members and other JSG departments. Executes pricing strategy.

 

The ideal candidates should have:A Bachelor's Degree. Sales experience; technical expertise and industry knowledge. Good interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and USG Staff. Problem sloving skills to determine cause of problems, evaluate implications and respond in an appropriate and timely manner. Outstanding time management skills; excellent presentation skills.
