Senior Estimator - Hard Dollar & Negotiated

Our company has been in business for 40+ years and is well established in the industry as a General Contractor. We are seeking a strong Senior estimator with a minimum of 10+ years experience in hard dollar and negotiated bids and expertise in self performed concrete and wood framing. You must be a highly motivated person and have the utmost integrity and positive, upbeat attitude.


Duties:  Primary responsibilities include: Preparing complete estimates for projects up to $20 million, preparation of bid packages, detailed take-off, and analysis of subcontractors' bids, contract writing and scheduling. Must be Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communications skills to effectively solicit and work with subcontractors and suppliers. 


Qualifications/skills:  Engineering or Construction Management degree with 10+ years estimating with a proven track record, including qualified projects ranging up to $20M with another General Contractor related to similar type of construction. Advanced knowledge of assigned discipline, estimating techniques and cost control, plus ability to interpret computerized cost data and systems are essential.

Required software knowledge: Timberline Estimating software, Onscreen Takeoff, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
