Johnson Carlier, Inc.  is a third generation, full-service Arizona contractor building Arizona since 1921.  JCI has extensive experience in the design/build and design assist field.  We are looking for a Senior Estimator who has excellent verbal and written communication skills to join our pleasurable and dedicated team.

 

The qualified candidate will have 5 or more years experience as an estimator with a broad background focusing primarily on the Commercial Construction Industry.  Must have a Bachelor?s degree in related field of construction.  Experience working on various projects worth $5 million to $20 million or more.  Proficient with computer applications and have bid experience (lump sum, hard bid & negotiated) with general and/or subcontractors.  Successful record of highly competitive bids with minimal error.  Ability to assess risks and keep current with regional market conditions affecting costs. 

 

 

Essential Scope of Responsibilities include:Completes complex estimating tasks on a variety of diverse projects.Ability to perform all estimating functions.Review project plans, specs, requirements & incorporate into estimate.Prepare accurate quantity take-offs & unit pricing.Assemble complete estimating packages.Prepare conceptual estimates.Meet, schedule & maintain estimate deliverables.Coordinate, review, analyze & input subcontractor submittals.Participate in client presentations & proposals as required.Customer/client satisfaction.
