A proven construction professional who is currently a Construction Superintendent with residential experience or an Assistant Superintendent ready for that step up to Superintendent. You have technical ability and know blueprints and are no stranger to the computer. You have experience with single and/or multi-family homes. You have been recoginized for your ability to meet deadlines and are good at motivating the crews. You are a go-getter & bring ideas and solutions to meetings, not just the problems. Oversee multiple projects for this award winning developer: multi-family projects along with single family projects. Working closely with VP of Construction to oversee and make sure the projects and plans are followed through and that they meet their deadlines. You will have anywhere from 3-7 asst. superintendents and customer service reps working under you at any given time. Walk the job, inspecting safety, production quality, site cleanliness, and walk city inspections.
Attend required meetings, sales meetings & staff meetings.
Maintain daily construction log.
Monitor checklist procedure and computer systems, as specified in the Quality Checklist Process. (Occasionally walking the checklist to follow up on Production Assistant, to maintain the integrity of the system).
Facilitate weekly job-site meetings.
Trouble shooting, problem solving and redlining approved plans.
Create and maintain accurate construction records such as computer schedules and documentation.
Monitor Production Assistant and CS Assistant.
Sustain an on-going professional development program for self-development and continued education.
Maintain and communicate with General Superintendent on construction scheduling.
Pre-walk each home 48 hours prior to customer orientation walk-through for Zero-Defect home acceptance.

Review once a week job status updating and training with on-site sales.
Issue Labor/Material Authorization (LMA's).
Schedule required agency inspection.
Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal hazardous material laws and regulations.

The VP of Construction is not a micro-manager whatsoever. He always has an "open-door" policy and promotes teamwork and team oriented functions. He really likes a go getter, someone who doesn't need to have their hand held through the process.
