Job Description

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with vendors to build win-win relationships, mange service-level-agreements and manage pricing performance.  The Sourcing Manager works closely with product managers, vendors and sub-contractors to source and fulfill home build package materials, installed products, subcontractor networks and savings programs.  Core responsibilities include sourcing, deal negotiations, performance management and problem resolution.  This is a key position within President Homes and we are looking for an individual with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in sourcing, a solid performance track-record and proven/innovative network build capabilities.

The company?s primary service offerings include comprehensive web-based Build Management tools, architectural drafting, construction and end loan financing, the supply of build materials, coordination of the construction build process and partner savings programs.

 

Position Summary: This is a mid to upper-level position requiring 3+ years experience in sourcing. Handles all aspects of sourcing including authority to negotiate and sign contracts. Quality discipline (score-carding, data analysis, process improvement. etc.) is required. Some travel may be required to build and maintain vendor and partner networks.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 Work closely with product team to identify product specifications. Source and build vendor & partner networks. Negotiate and execute service-level-agreements & contracts. Manage vendor and partner service level performance. Establish and maintain buy benchmarks and performance scorecards. Work closely with operations and product to resolve any vendor & partner issues.

 

Job Specifications:College degree with 3+ years experience in sourcing. Residential Construction industry experience preferred but not essential. Proven track-record in building and managing partner / vendor networks. Experience in Process and Quality disciplines preferred. Self-starter with exceptional team skills and desire to grow professionally. Solid time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects Outstanding interpersonal skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong technology aptitude and experience including MS Access and Excel.
