Centex Construction Company is seeking an Estimator or Sr. Estimator to specialize in Div. 2 and join our Business Acquisition Department. Advanced skills to produce take-offs and estimates in Earthwork, Site Utilities, Various Foundations Systems (Caissons, Piles, etc), Earth Retention Systems, Pavement and Hardscape are required. Additional knowledge in selective demolition, building demolition, site concrete, landscaping and irrigation is a helpful, but not required.

Duties will include preparing schematic and construction document estimates, soliciting subcontractor bids, evaluating scopes of work, preparing quantity surveys, and establishing costs of work for lump sum and conceptual estimates for the civil portions of a project. A min. 2-3 years experience in the development of cost estimates from concept through GMP and/or hard bid construction projects required. 7+ years of experience is desired for the Sr. Estimator position.
