SimplexGrinnell is a global leader in the design, manufacture, installation, and service of a comprehensive array of networked and integrated fire alarm and suppression, security, and communications systems. Our continued success and growth has produced a need for a Sprinkler Fitter - Journeyman position in our Atlanta, GA location.

Responsibilities:

Sprinkler Install and Repair

Qualifications:

2+ years experience in sprinkler work and pipe-fitting in a field service environment.

Must be able to perform complete installation of all water based fire sprinkler systems.

Must be able to read blue prints and have a complete working knowledge of the sprinkler codes.

Must be capable of running work with minimal or no supervision.

Be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.

Be able to climb ladders and operate machinery.

Valid driver's license.

Multiple years of experience in sprinkler / pipe-fitting industry and knowledge of pipe groovers and threaders is a must.

Candidates must successfully complete an employment background investigation and drug screening.
