Building Products Industry Experience Mandatory!

 

This is a fully experienced, technically proficient outside sales position that supplements & supports the general sales efforts in presenting engineered lumber products to key markets in a specific territory.

Develops new accounts & grows existing accounts with builders & retail customers in an assigned geographical area.

Assesses sales potential of customers & develops sales strategies & presentations to maximize penetration.

Probes customers to discover needs of key decision makers. Increases pull-through sales, exercises consultative selling skills negotiates prices & delivery; transmits orders to logistics for shipping; follows up with customers & resolves problems.

Serves as a primary customer contact to resolve all problems/issues.

Skills: Strong technical skills & understanding of structure & wood frame construction; analysis/judgment; market, product & customer knowledge; consultative selling skills.
