Sr. Quality Control / HS Officer

We have several positions.  One position requires heavy traveling and we are open to work location for this position.

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

 

-  BS in Engineering or Science desirable

-  Certified Quality Manager or Certified Quality Auditor desirable

-  At least 10 years experience in the construction industry; project QC management and  international experience desirable

-  Experience with both self performance and subcontracted projects

-  Project quality control (QC) experience including management of all project QC activities, supervision of QC staff, and development of project QC submissions

-  Thorough understanding of civil, mechanical, and electrical quality control (QC) equipment, processes, and testing procedures

-  USACE Quality Control Management training

-  Good written and oral communications skills

- Understanding of loss prevention and control principles and strategies

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

-  Be a safety and health leader through words and actions

-  Develop project quality control plans

-  Management of project QC staff

-  Provide training for ECCI and subcontractors on project QC Plans

-  Supervise all QC tasks to ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications

-  Implement formal three phase inspection program and perform informal daily QC and safety inspections to assess implementation of project QC Plan

-  Develop and/or review quality control submissions and maintain submittal register

-  Request corrective action in case of QC problems and follow up on corrective actions

-  Maintain client communication and understand client expectations

-  Facilitate continuous improvement efforts

-  Ensure corrective action in case of quality control problems

-  Participate in proposal efforts
