Structural Steel Detailer/Drafter
Job Purpose:
Prepares structural steel erection plans and or shop details using AutoCad & or SDS/2 program.
Duties:
* Prepares?approval?drawings by studying engineering specifications.
* Prepares final drawings by studying returned approval drawings, specifications, and supporting documents.
* Identifies and verifies specifications by examining engineering documents.
* Modifies drawings by studying changes made on approval drawings
* Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information; conferring with engineers, architects, &?? general contractors
* Maintains data base by entering data.

Skills/Qualifications:
A?minimum of 5 years of structural steel detailing experience, AutoCAD,?Deadline-Oriented, Self-Motivated,?Dependable, SDS/2 a plus
