Structural Steel Estimator/Project Manager/Detailer

Job Purpose:

Submit complete bid packages timely and to communicate as needed with job site to coordinate site activities and needs to bring the job to a timely & cost effective completion.

Duties:Prepare labor and material take-offs from structural steel and architectural drawings.? Solicit bids for material and subcontracts.? Maintain accurate records and documentation in job file.

?Coordinate with job site delivery schedules, and make sure all subcontracted items are ordered timely.

?Communicate with job site as needed and help resolve any issues.? Maintain the necessary documentation to determine whether any additional costs are within the scope of the contract or extras.

?Detail and check structural steel using contract drawings, this includes architectural, structural, and civil drawings.

?Issue and coordinate purchase orders

Skills/Qualifications:

AutoCad, Microsoft Office, Supervision, Organization, Multi Task, read/check drawings, various structural steel softwares
