Located in Lehi Utah.

 

Wilson Scott, Inc. a successful land development & residential contractor is looking for a highly skilled individual to oversee projects in our Northern Utah region.

 

Successful candidates should expect to be able to perform the following duties:

Responsible for all aspects of housing construction activities as well as assisting with land development including but not limited to, land planning, budgeting, construction quality, scheduling, construction management. This responsibility includes ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures in addition to any municipality regulations.

 Essential Job Functions (includes but not limited to the following):

Analyzes site and market data and due diligence to effectively anticipate and resolve potential obstacles or issues that may arise in land development or home construction process.

Assists in the creation and implementation of community CC&R?s and HOA association rules and regulations.

Works directly with Engineers, Land Surveyors, Soils Engineers and Local or State Agencies throughout the entire construction and development process.

Assists in monitoring the budget for all aspects of land development from initial planning stage through site development.

Monitors the budget for all aspects of the housing construction from initial product design and development through purchasing and final completion

Interfaces regularly with municipalities, home owners, and adjacent property owners.

Assists in the development of invitations to bid and provides purchasing on all housing product lines and awards contracts to subcontractors and suppliers.

Oversees all quality performance and quality assurance of all work performed by subcontractors on both the land development as well as the housing construction.

Manages numerous projects simultaneously.

Responsible for all aspects of the budget on all projects within area of responsibility.

 Requirements:

Construction Management Degree preferred but not necessary

Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience with production builder overseeing and establishing budgets, managing schedules etc.

 

Demonstrate a high degree of efficiency reading and understanding plans, schematics, engineering drawings, soils reports etc.

 

Experience with land acquisitions and development preferred but not necessary

 

Must be a self starter and able to motivate others and handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously.

 

Salary:  $50,000 to $60,000 base plus bonuses and profit sharing to be

  discussed during the interview.

 

Vacation:  3 weeks paid per year.
