Superintendent/Project Manager

Established Eastern NC General Contractor is looking for a proven Project Manager to manage all phases of residential construction.  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years as a Project Manager, the ability to review, and understand contract agreements and its terms and conditions, prepare change orders and take-offs.  This position requires strong communication skills, and the ability to organize and schedule tasks with multiple project deadlines.  We are looking for a strong leader that knows how to manage a team effectively, on-time, and within budget constraints.

 

Requirements of this position may include but not be limited to:

 Manage all construction activities onsite  Coordinate and supervise all subcontractors Review and verify subcontractors invoicesPrepare and submit requests for materials Attend and participate in weekly meetings to discuss work progress. Prepare and submit take-offs and change orders. Coordinate work activities with utilities companies and local agencies Plan to keep projects on time without delaysAnalyzing site plans and building specifications Overall knowledge of NC Building CodesScheduling and sequencing using UDA Construction Office Reviewing project tracking spreadsheets Have excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills.
