Superintendents and Estimators

Facchina Construction Company, a well-established company based in LaPlata MD, is currently seeking Estimators, Superintendents and Project Engineers for its Heavy- Highway Division. Facchina operates in the Metropolitan Washington DC Area and currently has over 700 employees, and an annual sales volume of more than $200 million.

We work primarily as a general contractor on public infrastructure projects and self-perform civil and structural work including concrete, excavation, and utilities.  If you want to build a career in the construction industry, then consider Facchina!

 

The following Opportunities are currently available in the Metropolitan Washington D.C. area:

 

Project Superintendents- The experienced candidate will supervise field activities at the construction site. Qualified candidates will have 5-7+ years supervisory experience on projects ranging from 500k -$15 M. 

 

Project & Office Engineers- (experienced & recent engineering graduates).  Work at the jobsite office administering schedule, cost control, quality control, subcontractors, and client communications.

 

Senior Estimator- Heavy-highway experienced and capable of preparing a complete estimate, including takeoff, vendor solicitation, work analysis, and pricing.  HCSS experience is a plus.  Work in the main office (La Plata).

 

Junior Estimator- Entry-level construction position for a recent engineering graduate.  Must be capable of quickly learning to read construction plans and specifications, perform quantity takeoffs, and communicate with vendors and senior estimators.  After about one year, expect an engineering assignment to the field to continue your career development.
