Position

Scope

Is responsible for administration of technical training.?? Position works closely with operations partners to learn content, develop materials, and coordinate technical training at all levels of the organization.?

?

This position will coordinate technical training, coach / mentor Operations Technical Trainers, and occasionally perform technical training.

Responsibilities

?

?

???????? Coordinates or performs administrative functions necessary track all training programs and OJT training programs

-????????? Expected to be approximately 50% of this position

?

???????? Assist Operations technical experts in leading and training technical skills in on-the-job (OJT) training sessions

?

???????? Administer and present occasional classroom technical training

?

?

???????? Plan, research, write and produce curriculum and learning aids for all learning applications using materials presented by Operations partners

?

???????? Coach, develop and mentor all Operations Technical Trainers

?

?

???????? Administer testing and assessment of content taught in OJT or classroom settings

?

???????? Work with Operations leadership to determine type of content to be instructed and importance of training topics

?

???????? Ensures buy-in from all operational partners of appropriateness of content

?

???????? Develops strong working relationships with all levels of employees and operational partners to understand and administer learning needs of the organization

?

???????? Provides coaching to all levels of employees and management on all technical subjects

?

???????? Source, coordinate and evaluate external technical training programs

?

???????? Prepare and conduct all levels of technical train-the-trainer programs

?

???????? Plan, coordinate and administer all aspects of training at any jobsite or classroom location

Requirements

?

???????? Exceptional ability to track all aspects of on-the-job training sessions

-????????? Approximately 50% of this position

?

???????? Education:? Strong administrative background in training field with some technical training.? Bachelor?s degree and/or equivalent years experience in appropriate field preferred but not required.

?

???????? 3+ years directly applicable experience administrating technical training or equivalent experience

?

???????? Previous training experience, both classroom and one-on-one job coaching settings

?

???????? Experience in development of classroom material and training aids

?

???????? Ability to travel to construction jobsites without restriction

?

???????? Ability to use Excel and related tools to develop tracking mechanisms and track ongoing technical training

?

???????? Able to act professionally, confidently and positively communicate with employees and management at all levels

?

???????? Excellent presentation skills, both for classroom and one-on-one instruction

???????? Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications

?

???????? Able to work independently and assertively

?

???????? Able to assist Operations in presenting ideas, concepts, concerns, tasks and questions in an organized and professional manner to employees

?

???????? Strength in fostering teamwork through training and education

?

???????? Strong demonstration of multi-tasking skills

???????? Strong technical aptitude

???????? Flexible and adaptable to change
