Training Coordinator

 Position Description:

 

The Regional Training Coordinator is responsible for implementing and ensuring employee training and development operations within their assigned region.

This will be accomplished through assisting the Regional Employee Development Manager in forecasting, planning, developing and implementing those policies, procedures, and performance based programs necessary for developing and maintaining the business units? employees, and will be achieved through utilization of the departments? personnel, participation on the business unit?s Management Team, dealing with internal and external customers, and interfacing with other TIMEC business unit resources.

 

Direct reports may include trainers, craft instructors, assessment coordinators, assessment proctors, and supporting clerical assistance Position Requirements:

Requires high school education or GED. A minimum of 1 year of training experience, with 2 years of application in the petrochemical or refining industry preferred.  One year of management experience is preferred.  Must possess skills in Windows based software programs, including Microsoft Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.  Must have the ability to perform basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.  Must be fluent at reading, speaking and writing in English.  Must have demonstrated ability to act and perform proactively and independently.
