Vice President Of Construciton

Reputable, privately held, home builder is currently seeking an exceptional Vice President of Construction for their office in Dallas, TX.

The Position:

 

The Vice President of Construction will lead, develop and motivate construction personnel to achieve objectives and company overall goals of customer experience, sales performance, and margin performance.  This person will be responsible for the leadership of direct-reports, responsible for the success of construction, warranty and purchasing by providing strategic direction and communication to the Region VP Operations.  The VP of Construction will oversee the management of construction capacity performance, construction production performance, labor and material cost performance and warranty performance.  This person will also oversee management of the safety program to ensure compliance with regulations and provide a safe work environment. 

 

Qualifications:

 

The ideal candidate will be a VP of Construction at a larger company looking to make a lateral move for the stability of a privately held builder.  This person must have 7-10 years experience in a high level construction management role such as an Area Manager, Director of Construction, or VP.  This candidate must have experience with a residential builder. Strong communication and presentation skills are required as well as a solid work history.  A degree is requested but not required.
