Job Summary and Mission

This job contributes to Starbucks success by forming licensed stores site development strategies, assessing sites and relationship building with licensee's management and development teams in order to achieve a superior development position for Starbucks licensed stores. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.


Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Analyzes new site opportunities. Builds long-term account value with executive level development relationships within key companies. Designs and recommends development strategies and positioning in the customer facility. Delivers ongoing strategic plans, reviews of existing sites, and analysis of relationships and way to improve development relationships to both parties.Communicates site development activities to the regional field teams. Acts as primary communication link among all parties. Manages site development database and all reporting requirements.Develops action plans in response to customer requests for store alterations and special projects. Recommends renovations of existing licensed locations to meet customer requests and brand standards.Develops proposals, delivers presentations, and gains consensus on projects.Provides site development management of specific licensed store sites and coordinates the activities of the regional development, design and installation teams from concept through completion.Provides site selection assistance, site validation and support to the sales team during the sales cycle of the licensed development process. Train teams in the development process, real estate and site selection.Visits new stores to insure compliance with all applicable building and health codes and regulation; Starbucks standards.
