Account Resource Manager

Position Description:

As an Account/Resource Manager, you will perform tasks related to client and people management. These activities include managing an internal team of consultants; establishing performance and career development plans for your staff; being accountable for project oversight and ensuring adherence to Towers Perrin?s Professional Excellence standards; managing active client relationships, and maintaining relationships with former clients.

You will be expected to assist with the implementation of robust internal processes for project methodology, resource utilization, and candidate profile maintenance. Additionally, you will have responsibility for personnel management; training facilitation; and project status review for current engagements that members of your consulting team are involved in. Client responsibilities consist of maintaining approximately 10-20 active client relationships and continuing those relationships beyond project completion. The ability to identify and to develop add-on sales leads and to assist sales and marketing in their business development efforts is essential.

The Account/Resource Manager?s performance will be measured through full circle feedback, client satisfaction surveys, and sales opportunities obtained with existing clients.

MAJOR REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:


5 or more years of related experience
Functional and/or technical knowledge of the PeopleSoft HCM product line
An executive presence with superior written, verbal, and presentation skills
Experience in a consulting environment
Must be able to effectively manage people
Advanced degree and/or related professional certification (PMP, PHR) a plus
