Actuarial Analyst - Retirement

A Retirement Actuarial Analyst analyzes an employer's population and tracks changes from year to year using database software. To fulfill this role, an Actuarial Analyst will:

Complete benefit calculations, review plan documents, produce employee benefit statements and file annual government reportsExamine and verify retirement trust financial statementsProgram and develop liabilities using actuarial principles and Mercer's Global Retirement System (GRS)Use GRS to determine employer contributions and expenses, and to create reports.


BA/BS degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science or a related field Between 2 to 5 years' relevant experience, preferably in a consulting environment Commitment to achieving ASA/FSA designations Superior analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Ability to work in a team environment with rapidly changing priorities and demands Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communications skills.Mercer Human Resource Consulting Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
