As an Agency Director for Gentiva Consulting, you will:

?Act as the on-site Gentiva Consulting representative providing day to day direction and expertise to clients (including hospitals and home health agencies) on operating a home health agency.

?Direct agency operations to ensure the provision of quality service consistent with applicable government laws, regulations, and corporate policies, guidelines, and standards. Maintain an awareness of changes in legislation that impact business operations and liability.

?Develop the agency annual budget and monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgetary constraints.

?Assess market potential and develops the annual business plan. Coordinate sales activities and participate in community/professional organizations to increase visibility and ensure the achievement of sales/profit goals.

?Analyze gross profit factors, market conditions, business volume/mix, competition and operational costs/requirements. Negotiate contracts with referral sources, third party payers and government agencies, and ensure that they are effectively serviced.

?Direct/oversee patient intake/inquiries, the assessment of patient needs and credit limits.

?Ensure that staff skills are matched to patient needs and prepare/monitor work schedules to ensure effective coverage.


Qualifications

?Bachelor's Degree in Business, Social Work, Sales/Marketing, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or the equivalent

?A minimum of five years healthcare experience

?Two years in a responsible supervisory/administrative role for home health agency

?Broad knowledge of home health agency regulations/administration

?Excellent organization, problem solving, decision making, presentation and communication skills
