TBR is looking for a qualified individual to assist in the continued growth and expansion of our company services offerings. TBR is seeking analysts/consultants for its Custom and Emerging Research services group to propose, construct, execute and then collect and analyze data generated for primary research projects in the IT and/or Telecommunications arena. The individual will work as part of a team collaborating on research, conducting low and high level interviews, and will also assist in the growth and development of TBR?s Custom and Emerging Research Business. The individuals will work independently and/or in conjunction with senior managers and senior consultants at TBR to develop research plans and programs and will contribute to ad-hoc consulting engagements and company based information surveys.

 

The individuals should have the goal of joining TBR to participate in the long-term growth of the company. Our environment also has the potential for broad exposure to high-tech executives as well as the opportunity for media attribution.

 

?  Position:  Full Time Analyst/Consultant (or initially Contract Analyst/Consultant)

?  Description: The analyst/consultant will be responsible for proposals, qualitative and quantitative discovery, collection and analysis of data, report creation and presentations. Depending on the nature of projects, the final products are written analytical reports which can include specific companies, products, services, or lines of businesses related to the IT industry.



?  Qualifications: 

?  College degree and 3 to 4 years of experience (or MBA) in quantitative and qualitative analysis.

?  Excellent report writing and presentations skills and the ability to speak knowledgeably regarding IT and/or Telecommunication product and service related issues.

?  The successful candidate must have strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, can comfortably perform data analysis, statistical analysis, competitive analysis, and/or financial analysis and excellent writing and communications capacity. (Financial modeling and experience with CAPEX and OPEX models would be acceptable in lieu of experience with formal statistical and/or competitive analysis).

?  The individual should be comfortable in conversing and eliciting information with managers through telephone interviews. The ability to quickly discern and analyze the critical elements of large sets of information is a must. The individual must also be comfortable deriving conclusions, and can effectively communicate analyses and conclusions to clients in speech, writing, and/or spreadsheet format.
