Analyst - Government Sector Consulting

The Government Sector Analyst provides consulting assistance on rate setting and risk management for government-sponsored programs, including programs for the Medicaid, medically indigent and uninsured populations. To fulfill this role, the Consulting Analyst will:

Collect, analyze and interpret health care data Analyze claims, estimate future plan costs and develop pricing models Develop awareness of health care plan design, cost factors and the renewal process Calculate claims completion factors.

BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, economics, finance or business 2-5 years professional experience with a healthcare, underwriting, consulting or actuarial background Superior analytical and mathematical skills; strong command of Excel; working knowledge of Access Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment Ability to work independently and on a team.
