 Experience:

2-4 years proven analysis, design, programming, and documentation skills.

Proven ability to manage time, projects and multiple competing priorities.

Ability to work under pressure of time constraints and to prioritize assignments necessary.

PC literacy in MS/DOS, Windows and advanced functions of common business software including database, spreadsheet, communication, report writing and word process applications required.

Experience with SQR, SQL, Etools or relational databases required. EPS experience a plus.

Competent to work on complex systems program analysis and systems development assignments.

Responsible for systems analysis with a focus on internal standards, coding, testing, and documentation.

Assists in determining program specifications, modifying and expanding existing programs, as well as creation of new programs and/or modules, as well as user documentation.

Competent to learn and use new technologies adopted by department without significant assistance.

Consistently meets project deadlines and is subject to heavy workloads.

Responsible for any work and/or requests assigned by management.

This position has specific emphasis on the completion of updates and upgrades for our hosted client base.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Receives minimal supervision and works independently within department guidelines.

Responsible for decisions and/or actions during client conference calls and/or meetings concerning assigned projects as it relates to client relations standards.

Proven time management, communication, and documentation skills.

Interacts with senior team members for assistance and provides project report information. Receives coaching from senior team members.

Provides guidance and assistance to associate level programmer analysts.

Complete upgrades and updates of the Enterprise product suite with supervision. Apply patches and fixes to production clients as needed with supervision.

 

Essential fucntions of the Applications Systems Analyst:

Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's application systems. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
