Position: Application Support Engineer - Arlington, VA

Qualifications

- Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years implementation and support experience with database applications (document management, Help Desk or CRM systems)
- Experience with Documentum or other Document Management systems highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with Oracle or SQL server database platforms
- Strong knowledge of development tools
- Strong knowledge of Windows NT/2000/2003, UNIX
- Exposure to AIX desirable
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize project and support requirements
- Strong team and communication skills

Position Overview

IT Engineer with Documentum or similar system experience.

Responsibilities

- Provide administration and support for document management system and associated platforms (eRoom, DCO, DCE, etc.)
- Assist local office support with resolving escalated issues.
- Provide support for other Enterprise applications and services as necessary.
- Provide after hours support on an as needed basis.
- Assist with development and support of disaster recovery / business continuity plans, and act as a member of the Disaster Response team in maintaining availability of Enterprise Applications systems.
- Maintain documentation of Enterprise Applications systems, including support issues, performance metrics and other indicators of system availability
