Ariba Senior Consultants and Consultants

The BearingPoint Strategic Sourcing Team is looking for an Ariba Sr. Consultants to join our team.

Locations: Northeast, Midwest, California-major cities, Atlanta, GA or Denver, CO.

Ideal candidates will:
-Participate in business and system requirements gathering, analysis and documentation.
-Be responsible for the development of efficient/modular well structured code that can be migrated.
-Support the setup of development environments, the testing environment and the technical configuration of Ariba Buyer 7.1 or 8.x.
-Support the customizations in Ariba Buyer including the modification of object models and data mapping to the Legacy and ERP and Supplier Data Base.
-Support code and unit testing.
-Participate on the documentation, the overall deployment plan and the postproduction support and hand off.
-Have moderate to heavy client contact.
-Support practice development initiatives.

-Expertise in or comprehensive knowledge of a particular technical specialty or industry.
-Demonstrated ability to be a team player.
-Deliver timely and quality services that meet or exceed team manager's and client's expectations.

Technical skills:
-Previous experience with all or many of the Ariba ESM modules (Buyer, Contracts, eInvoicing, Analysis, Sourcing, Analysis, Category Manager, Category Procurement).
-At a minimum must have an in depth knowledge of Ariba Buyer 7.1 and 8.x (workflow, rules, content management, output processing, UI, order methods, classes, etc.), Object Oriented programming knowledge, XML, Java, JavaScript, basic Unix knowledge, SQL proficient, Tibco and File Channel knowledge a plus, good debugging skills, development mentality and a quick learner.

Education and Experience
-Advanced degree preferred (or additional years of experience).
-Typically has 3-5 years of work experience, consulting is a plus.

Weekly travel about 75% required, depending on project location.
