IBM is seeking an i2 Transportation Management Systems (TMS) Consultants. The qualified applicant will have recent experience with the client/server version of TM/TO through hands on experience with multiple complete implementation cycles, and must have 3 to 7 years of i2 TMS configuration/implementation experience. This position requires a deep understanding of i2 API structures and strong client communication skills, with the ability to translate client requirements/processes into configuration and development specifications. This position also requires deep functional specification writing skills, and a thorough understanding of application testing methodology. Applicants must have familiarity and experience in identifying, creating and executing test scripts and resolving identified issues. Applicants must have knowledge of i2 TM/TO capabilities from planning, execution, and freight payment perspectives.
Applicants must understand client visibility and Supply Chain Event Management, and have the drive to exceed client expectations. Successful applicants should also have transportation or logistics industry experience, consulting experience, and EDI implementation experience. BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience required. Since most of our work is performed at client sites, this position requires up to 100% travel.
