Business Analyst at a Fast-Growing Consulting Company - Excellent Career Opportunity!

We are seeking two energetic and talented?individuals?to join our staff on?a broad-scope 9-month consulting engagement at a pharmaceutical manufacturing customer based in the Eastern U.S.? This engagement starts in mid-August, 2006.? This is a Business Analyst role.

We are engaging with this customer to drive value in three ways:

1. Strategic Sourcing
2. Negotiations/long-term contracting with key strategic indirect vendors
3. Enabling activities - enhancing their?sourcing and procurement processes, selection and implementation of sourcing and eProcurement technology tools. Facilitating cross-functional teams leading change in these areas.
4. Program management - overall management of the change effort

Analysts will typically be involved in the following activities:Organizing and documenting information logically?Understanding and articulating common business decisionsInterviewing key client personnel and analyzing resultsUnderstanding and articulating the major processes within a businessUnderstanding which business processes are to be included in the prospective project?Gathering, interpreting and manipulating data to support scope assessmentDeveloping design documentation (e.g. business flows, business process descriptions, program specs)Applicants must be willing and able to travel extensively to customer's sites throughout the Eastern U.S.

Analysts will typically have:Excellent analytical ability Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner Ability to effectively operate independently or in a team environment Excellent computer and modeling skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills 1-3 years related consulting experience Undergraduate degree ? business, economics, math, or?sciences preferred
