Business Analysts - New York

The College Board is a national educational organization that provides products and services to higher education, schools and school districts, students and their parents.  Among our best-known products are the SAT, PSAT/NMSQT and Advanced Placement Program.

 

We are creating an enterprise strategy and change management implementation office within the College Board and have immediate opportunities for Business Analysts who want to use their skills and experience in performing rigorous fact-based analyses to contribute to and support formulation and execution of the College Board?s business strategy.  These positions are resident at College Board headquarters in New York, NY. 

 

The College Board seeks Business Analysts who will be responsible for providing analyses and business decision support on selected projects related to strategic planning, product development, capability development and major operational improvements by working in a facilitative and consultative role with College Board staff in product management as well as in functional areas such as finance, operations, marketing, information services, and relationship development

 

Specifically, Business Analysts will be responsible for the following:

 Process design, implementation, and oversight for the management of key College Board strategic initiatives as well as monitoring of College Board?s project portfolio. Maintaining in-depth knowledge of College Board strategic priorities, key initiatives, and business operations. Defining key performance indicators and monitoring processes for College Board strategic initiatives as well as College Board operations.

 

Qualifications include a Bachelor of science degree in Engineering or another analytical discipline plus 5 years of work experience in a similar business analysis capacity.

 

In selecting candidates, we will place a strong emphasis on experience in a non-IT business process change and operational transformation context.  We seek candidates who are professional, highly analytical, have strong critical thinking skills, superior communications skills and strong interpersonal skills.
