Business Brokers assist business owners in selling their businesses. They must have good people skills, and must understand income statements and balance sheets. Previous Business Owners have an excellent background for this business and have been quite successful. This position is all about keeping buyers and sellers ?comfortable? while guiding them through the process of buying a business. This is done by being on top of the situation and solving problems using strong listening skills and leadership skills. This is a commission only position and you can expect to make between $75,000 and $300,000 per year. Also due to the length of the sales cycles you should expect a 4 to 6 month period to elapse before you get that first commission check.
