Business Development Specialist

Leading engineering and environmental consulting firm is looking for a business development specialist for Ft. Lauderdale office. Position involves identifying and developing new clients. Requires self-starter with excellent networking, organization, planning and communications skills. The right candidate will need to learn the many facets of the company services. Additionally, they will be successful in researching and prospecting targeted companies and scheduling face-to-face meetings with decision-makers and influencers. College degree or equivalent business experience required. Knowledge of environmental, engineering or architecture a plus. Some travel. EOE.

 



Qualifications:
Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience. Skills: Ability to consult/sell to decision-makers and committees. Ability to understand or learn multi faceted company services. PC knowledge and capabilities (MS Office), Internet, MS Outlook, Power Point. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Travel required.
