Business Intelligence Senior Business Analyst ? Lyndhurst, NJ

 

The candidate will work closely with Human Resources (APT), Global IT and a variety of constituents to define the detailed requirements for the Business Intelligence (BI) project.  The project is a migration project to B.O. XI R2. Candidate must possess excellent business analysis, personal, verbal and written communication skills.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:Identify and document new business requirements.Co-develop reporting and measurement framework for the user communities. Conduct the detailed user requirements gathering via user community interviews:

v Determine the kinds of data that is collected.

v Define common definitions.

v Determine where the data is coming from

v Evaluate downstream systems.

v Define user community groups.

v Help users visualize the important measurements.Identify and document requirements for analytics, dashboards and ad hoc reporting. Co-develop design of strategic reports. Document data definitions into BusinessObjects? Encyclopedia. Co-develop design of operational reporting catalog and access (roles and privileges) control requirements. Co-develop governance model for maintaining BI solution meta-data and enhancement requests. Participate in report designs of BI solution. Participate in Risk Management planning to ensure completeness and accuracy of delivered reports.

 

Skills and Requirements:Functional understanding of Business Objects tools and experience with migrations and implementations. Experienced in Human Resource metrics and analytics reporting. Strong business analysis skills and requirements definition and gathering skills. Skilled in risk assessment and mitigation. Must be experienced in data analysis. Knowledge of RUP and Use Cases is desirable. Strong knowledge of Excel. Superior relationship-building skills and strong client focus. Ability to travel to theCleveland Area about 15% of the time
