Business Process Improvement Manager

Gategourmet is currently undergoing a global ERP implementation.  As the premier airline catering firm in the world, this will create operational efficiencies that never existed before for our company.  This implementation will help to maintain our level of service excellence to the most valued airline clientele in the world.  The Business Process Improvement Manager will have direct responsibility for creating synergy between the implementation team and all the business units affected by the rolling out of our products.



 

Job Scope:

 Lead the implementation of ERP systems within Division Americas, with primary focus on North America first and subsequently Latin America. Organize a cross functional team with direct representation from each functional area within the Division and create a ?Champion? role for each facility to effectively implement the systems with NO detrimental effect on the Customer base.

 

Provide the necessary training to enable the full utilization of the systems and drive continuous improvement, critical ?safeguards? need to be developed and in place to assure successful deployment and risk mitigation. Manage change within the organization, as we move from current processes to future state, providing direction, support, counseling, and training as required.

 

Manage ambiguity to secure compliance to predetermined roll out schedule. Manage success through a highly matrixed role, addressing individual functional needs but with focus on the ?end state? of the Division?s objectives.

 

Requirements:

 

1) Background must include operational background within manufacturing, mid to large scale operations within the public or private sector.

2) Background in Materials Management Supply Chain Management would be preferred.

3) Previous leading and ERP implementation would be required, with heavy focus on MRP.

4) Must be flexible to spend more than 50% of time traveling between HQ and Sites.

5) Excellent people skills and results driven approach. Must have a demonstrated experience working in a multi-cultural highly matrixed organization.

 

Nice to have:

 

1) SAP usage/implementation experience.

2) MRP II Class A implementation experience.

3) Six Sigma/Lean experience.

4) Process mapping and Project Management experience.

5) APICS Certification.

 

Reporting structure:

 Divisions Americas, directly to the Sr. VP of Operational Excellence. Indirectly supervises implementation team and local champions.
