This is a virtual position. The main markets are VA, Washington, DC and all of the East Coast.

Our innovative Business Transformation (BT) practice leverages Hewitt s renowned human capital capabilities to provide novel business transformation solutions for our clients. These BT solutions range from the support and implementation of long-term business strategies to the development of detailed integrated transformation solutions. BT supports any change-related event affecting our clients organization, people, processes, or architecture and considers both cost reduction and growth capability building for dramatic improvement.
We are seeking a talented, energetic candidate to play an integral role in this exciting new business. As a Business Transformation Design Consultant you will be challenged to develop and apply your technical proficiency and functional knowledge to deliver innovative and effective integrated organizational transformation solutions. The role requires strong interpersonal communication skills and a high degree of flexibility, along with the need for extensive travel and onsite work with clients.

Responsibilities Include:

Project Management
-Partner with others in managing components of large, complex, long-term client projects
-Participate in client team discussions, decisions, problem-solving and effective integration of solutions to problems
-Conduct information gathering and fact finding at the client
-Contribute to the qualitative and/or quantitative assessment of client s current state
-Participate in designing and implementing integrated organizational transformation solutions

Client Scoping/Extend and Expand
-Be alert to selling opportunities through client interactions and take action upon them
-Participate in client scoping conversations with experienced consultants
-Contribute to complex client proposals

Client Relationship Building/Delivery
-Learn the business goals of the firm and our clients
-Deliver/present solutions to clients
-Grow professional skills in broader business transformation issues
-Engage in intra- and inter- team collaboration to leverage contribution across practices
-Help develop preliminary client budgets for review; and manage to the approved budget
-Contribute to profitability by applying time/financial management skills

BT Offer Support
-Support and participate in leading edge research yielding new or broadened BT client service offerings.
-Participate in rigorous analytic methods and tools that target client s complex business transformation challenges, leveraging Hewitt s existing capabilities in other service areas.
-Apply content knowledge and technical skills in all aspects of the business transformation domain and leverage across Hewitt s lines of business.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor degree in related discipline; Master s degree/MBA preferred
-Approximately 1 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a business transformation area including work across the people, process, governance, technology enablement and change management domains
-Experience with project management
-Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills
-Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
-Strong technical skills (e.g., management systems and processes; process redesign)
-Team player
-Ability to travel and work at client locations for extended periods of time (90%+)
-Willingness to relocate preferred if necessary to meet business needs
-Proficient knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
