CONSULTING MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY



Serve as the primary daily client contact and lead team supporting the design, development and implementation of healthcare information systems and consulting services

RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain partnership with Client Manager to best leverage Medstat resources while retaining and expanding client relationships Own the management of, and develop an analytic agenda to support the client?s strategic objectives. Scope and price analytic projects. Manage project delivery within time and budget constraints. Ensure quality of deliverables. Identify potential opportunities beyond contract scope. Translate analytic work to answer client?s questions. Articulate and teach Medstat values, standards and norms.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree. Strong communications skills ? must be able to effectively communicate complex ideas verbally and in writing to internal and external audiences at all levels. Strong analytic/problem solving skills; must be able to understand the data and recommendations that can be drawn from it. Strong presentation skills. Familiarity with basic computer suite ? Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint ? as well as database fundamentals. Seven to ten years health care/benefits experience ? either in-house or as a consultant. Willingness to travel.  Will vary by work location, market focus and client assignments.
