We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual looking to build a career in the benefits consulting industry.  This position provides direct exposure to clients by teaming coordinators, associate consultants and consultants in the delivery of exceptional client services.  We currently have an opening for a Client Coordinator in our San Francisco Office (located near BART).

 

Responsibilities:Teams and trains with Consultants and Associate Consultants to provide exceptional service to clients; builds knowledge of employee benefits and insurance industry in order to quickly assume client service responsibilities Analyzes data and prepares reports using proprietary company tools and processes. Drafts and updates client references. Works closely with insurance carriers on renewal requests, renewal confirmations, request letters, contract amendments, and updating contact information. Prepares health and welfare benefit compliance documents. Learns and becomes proficient on client management database.

 

 

Requirements:Initiative and strong attention to detail 1-3 years experience in benefits administration, accounting, finance or account management (those not meeting this requirement may be considered for a developmental role as Client Services Support). Intermediate level of Microsoft Office Suite, including strong understanding of Excel Proven experience maintaining high level of accuracy while working in a collaborative environment Ability to manage work from several sources Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated team player Strong analytical and math skills Strong verbal and written communication skills B.S./B.A. from an accredited college or university preferred.
