Collaboration SME

Collaboration expert.  This person would work directly with the customer o help develop and confirm the clientdirection around Collaboration.  This person should be very skilled in business and technical knowledge of the Collaboration space.  Awareness of  general trends in the Collaboration space and an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of  or major players such as IBM and Documentum are required.  This person will need excellent verbal communication skills as they will be required to interact with key business and technical individuals across the customer and then synthesize and prioritize requirements and pull together a high level strategy.  This person will working alone with some guidance from an FC consultant so they should be a self starter and be able create their own deliverables in an effective presentation.  Should also have very professional presentation skills as they will required to present to executive levels at the customer.


Specifically,the customer is a IBM environment with fundamental calendaring, messaging, sharepoints, etc. The client is in the process of assessing next generation capabilities and requirements, for instance:

Global calendaring and planning, e.g., how do I set up a management calendar for a whole year that moves us to our strategic goals?

Advanced search and tagging, portal integration, integrated document services

Next generation IBM tools for collaboration, i.e., IBM's Workplace

Fundamentally, we are looking for a resource that has strong business management consulting skills with a strategic bent, while being grounded in advanced technologies (those of the collaboration variety) and business case development.
