Consultant - Healthcare Strategy/Facilities

Job Description:

(NYSE: NCI) is a specialized leading independent consulting firm providing litigation, financial, restructuring, energy, healthcare and operational consulting services to government agencies, legal counsel and large companies facing the challenges of uncertainty, risk, distress and significant change.

Navigant Consulting has an immediate need for a Consultant within our Healthcare Strategy practice based in Chicago.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides detailed fact finding, research and financial analysis
- Develops computer models including detailed and potentially complex spreadsheet analyses
- Assists with data gathering activities including document review and supervision, and quality control of data entry activities
- Demonstrates proper documentation of work product
- Prepares client communications for senior level review
- Coordinates administrative functions including time tracking and bill preparation

Qualifications:
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in facilities planning in a hospital setting.
- Strong analytical skills, problem solving, financial analyses, basic knowledge of statistics
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Excellent computer skills MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel

Education:
- Bachelors or Graduate degree in Facility Planning Design or related discipline
