Consultant - Senior Manager - Services Sector

Our teams of experienced consultants help organizations identify opportunities for improvement, plan and execute initiatives, evaluate project performance, and provide subject matter consultation in customer, operations, financial, and technology management.

We are currently looking for an accomplished individual to join our Minneapolis office as a Senior Manager with a specific focus on clients in the service sector.

The Senior Manager will provide overall management and direction regarding all phases of engagement planning and administration including staff management on large, complex engagements as well as concurrent engagements for a variety of clients in service industries such insurance, health care, banking and financial services.

Specifically, the Senior Manager will:
Provide effective, quality consulting services of the highest standard to firm clients.
Participate in the effective management of engagement staff.
Understand and demonstrate effective practice development skills and abilities in order to increase business unit and firm success and profitability.
Maintain and expand knowledge base.
Support and enhance internal business unit and firm operations.

This position requires:
A minimum of 7 years of consulting and consulting management experience.
Proven ability to: plan and administer numerous, large, complex engagements concurrently; provide effective leadership and staff management; and develop and maintain client relationships and business.
Ability to effectively present technical detail in writing
Ability to summarize technical details into concise action plans
Ability to participate in presentations
BA/BS in Business Administration, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Experience in one or more service sector industries: insurance, health care.
Experience in consulting to government clients is a plus.
