IBM Business Consulting Services is seeking an experienced cost management
practitioner for the Financial Management practice. The consultant will
lead and participate in project teams serving the CFO organization of
external clients in the Financial Services sector. Applicants will need
deep knowledge of financial processes including advanced activity based costing methodology, cost allocations, profitability measurement techniques
and other standard financial and management reporting practices in financial
services companies. The responsibilities for the Cost Management SME
include, but are not limited to: manage projects involving the
development of leading edge costing methodologies, including advanced
activity-based costing; will work closely with clients to evaluate costing
software vendors and select components of financial architecture; will drive activities including the leading of proposals & sales cycle, and recruiting; manage implementation of costing methodologies and allocations in ERP apps; have extensive experience with designing and implementing leading-edge costing; a deep knowledge of financial, business and cost management processes in Financial Services; experience managing the implementation of leading costing tools (eg SAS; Excellent communication, managerial and leadership skills; ability to handle multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
